Named after Marie Luise Bergmann, the Bergmannkiez’s namesake, we want to create a new meeting place in the neighborhood where everyone can enjoy delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. Our aim is to make you happy with a successful mix of familiarity and variety.Our is inspired by culinary traditions from around the world – with a special love for mediterranean flavors. We’re drawn to the simple and honest, reimagining the classics with new layers and leaving space for the unexpected. The result are dishes that feel familiar but still surprise.Our menu is seasonal and thoughtfully divided into Cold, In Between, Warm and Desserts – designed for sharing and mixing. As a guideline, we recommend 3-4 plates for two. We also offer a carefully curated seasonal menu, along with group menus that we create individually in advance. A rotating Specials menu gives us room to explore new dishes and inventive drinks.We care deeply about quality, sourcing and animal welfare. Almost everything is made in-house – fresh, from scratch and crafted with real skill. Whether it’s gnochetti, sourdough bread, socca, lemon ricotta ice cream or our pizza fritta – we believe in making the simple feel special.At the heart of the space hangs a century-old painting of women laughing, tasting wine, enjoying life – a quiet reminder of what BERGMANNS is all about: connection, lightness, shared moments and joy.
